Ready for Black Stories?

Do you want to know about a really funny and entertaining game in order to have a fantastic time with your friends? I am the proud owner of a really amazing one and therefore I want to introduce it to you :)

The game itself is called “Black Stories” and maybe some of you have already heard about it before because it is becoming more and more popular these days as I have recognized so far. Let me tell you a little bit of the game.. probably one of the best things about “Black Stories” is that you don’t need a lot of equipment in order to play it. All you need is the little box that comes with the game that has some cards in it. On the cards you can find the “Black Stories”. Additionally, you need some people to play the game with you as you cannot play it on your own. Of course, it wouldn’t be bad if these people have a little sense of humour which, indeed, is a must to play the game ;)

At the beginning of one round one person takes a card and reads out loud the story that is written on the card. The stories are about murders and tell how people came to death, but they always don’t tell the whole story about someone’s death. The challenge for the other people except the story teller is to find out what exactly happened to the people that died. In order to solve the riddle about the death of the people in the “Black Stories”, the other players have to ask the story teller different questions that the story teller has to answer either with “Yes” or “No”. As the questioning goes on, the players should find out how the people in the “Black Stories” exactly came to death and solve the riddle :)

I give you one example. A “Black Story” could go like this..

One man delivered vegetables, another one delivered meat. A short time later, one of them was dead.

The solution of this riddle is that the two men are in fact the brothers Kain and Abel, sons of Adam and Eve. God appreciated more the sacrificial offerings of Abel, which were sheeps, than the offerings of Kain, which were only fruits. For this reason, Kain became jealous of his brother and lured him out to the fields where he finally killed Abel.

As you can see, the stories are quite and you have to think outside to box in order to solve the riddles surrounding the murders and deaths in the “Black Stories”. But I can tell that it is a really funny game and me and my friends have already spent a lot of amusing hours with these little cards, so I am very thankful to the creator of “Black Stories” :)
